The Local Lust List #3

We’re already into week 3 of the Local Lust List, and sadly my shopping want has not waned. But when there are so many pretty things around that would look equally pretty in my wardrobe it’s hard not to spend time gazing longingly at them, or spend money making them mine.

This week I’ve clearly moved on from the default loungewear setting in my mind, because all of the items I’ve picked are actually suitable for wearing outside of the house. (When it’s safe to do so, obviously. For now, they’ll work equally well being worn over your pj’s.)

This week I’m lusting after…

1.  Bitter Lemon’s Superado Dress

Just look at the size of the pockets on this dress from Bitter Lemon. I bloody love functional fashion and this Grecian-inspired dress ticks all the boxes. Except for clumsy people, maybe. I have visions of myself spilling a lot of food down that lovely fabric.

2.  Ibbidi Bobbidi Boo’s Cotton Printed Jumper

I have regaled you with tales of my love of leopard print many a time, so finding this jumper on Tenterden-based Ibbidi Bobbidi Boo’s Facebook page was a treat for my eyes. It looks super comfy but very wearable for when you’re able to get out into the real world again. Or, it would be a great way to jazz up your supermarket style. (Am I the only one who’s really making an effort to go to Tesco these days?)

3. Carmela ‘Piel’ Shoes from Soles With Heart

Much like my obsession with leopard print, I also have a bit of an addiction to ankle boots. But, these lovelies from West Malling boutique Soles with Heart are basically a summer version, and thus a definite need.

4. Clarence & Alabama’s Eden Jumpsuit

Specialising in retro-inspired clothing, Clarence & Alabama have some really really gorgeous pieces and to be honest, it was hard to pick just one. But, I’ve fallen in love with this jumpsuit which just so happens to be in the sale. I’m not sure I’ll make it through typing this sentence before clicking ‘buy’.

5. Two Danes Darcy Shirt from Elizabeth Rose

For me, a denim shirt is a wardrobe staple, and this Two Danes version available from Tenterden’s Elizabeth Rose boutique is a great shape and colour. Love love love!
